VIC Small Business Grants up to $10k
Thousands of small businesses across Victoria struggling to cope with the COVID-19 shutdown will receive grants of up to $10,000 under a new assistance scheme announced by the Victorian government.
The Victorian Government will put $500 million into the Small Business Support Fund as another measure to keep small businesses afloat. The grants are similar to the ones provided to small businesses in areas devastated by the recent bushfires, and are designed to provide help fast.
To be eligible, businesses will need to have a turnover of more than $75,000, and payroll of less than $650,000.
Applications for a small business grant of up to $10,000 will remain open until 1 June 2020. To apply or for further details on the eligibility requirements and other grants, loans and financial assistance available, visit the Business Victoria website.
