Robyn’s focus is her family, reading, handicrafts and volunteer work.
Robyn was involved in the Scouting movement for many years, as a leader. Robyn was also involved in the school P & C’s for many years and participated in the organisation of many of the functions. Robyn is currently Secretary and Registrar for the local netball club and is also on one of the committees for the Manly Warringah Netball Association. Robyn, having haled from Melbourne originally, is a keen Melbourne Storm supporter.
One of Robyn’s achievements was to get an ATO ruling that a client’s food was GST exempt by using her knowledge of food processing and her involvement in Regulatory Affairs in the food industry when GST was introduced.
Robyn’s qualifications are B App Sc (App Chem), Grad Dip App Sc (Dairy Technology) and Grad Dip of Human Nutrition. Robyn left corporate life and joined her husband Jeff Banks in 2006 in the accountancy business, Banks Consultancy, bringing to the business a strong quality assurance and systems background. Robyn looked after the day to day running of the accounting business and as CEO of Banks Consultancy, it was her role to make sure that the office ran smoothly and efficiently so that clients had a memorable and worry-free experience. When Banks Consultancy joined MWL Financial Group in 2015, Robyn joined the team as Client Services to ensure a successful transition. Having been a business owner, Robyn understands the trials and tribulations that running a business can bring and can empathise with other business owners.
