COVID-19: NSW Small Business Grants up to $10k

Thousands of small businesses across NSW struggling to cope with the COVID-19 shutdown will receive grants of up to $10,000 under a new assistance scheme announced by the NSW government.

The NSW Government will put $750 million into the Small Business Support Fund as another measure to keep small businesses afloat. The grants are similar to the ones provided to small businesses in areas devastated by the recent bushfires, and are designed to provide help fast.

To be eligible, businesses will need to have up to 19 employees, a turnover of more than $75,000, and payroll of less than $900,000.

Applications for a small business grant of up to $10,000 will be available through Service NSW by 17 April 2020 and remain open until 1 June 2020. Further details on the eligibility requirements and other grants, loans and financial assistance available can be found on the Service NSW site.
